Felix Freeman by Marcus Brown.

There's no better way to test a 'social media character design application' than with a master of social media character design.

After a long arduous selection process, we are extremely happy to announce that artist, Marcus Brown, has emerged as one of the specialists who is going to test drive the Demo Graphic Replicator.

Marcus needs very little introduction to you all, I'm sure. A passionate creative, with an overwhelming curiosity in all our uses of social media - especially Twitter. Here's a sampler of his insights and appropriation techniques of Re-reading Tweets to portray character, with @gapingvoid as the topic.

Official Tweet Reading VIII: Hugh MacLeod from Marcus Brown on Vimeo.

Marcus' first Sibling creation is Felix Freeman. A London based, 20 something, working in the city.

I'm not going to publish Felix's source code here, just yet. All I can say is that the first tweets from Felix made Marcus and me go, "OoooOh, interesting."

Please show your appreciation for the art of Marcus and subscribe to Felix.

More characters from Marcus soon - I hope. Possibly a short video on how he approaches the design of a character too. That would be awesome, I'm sure you'll agree.

Thanks Marcus.

Update.
Read how Marcus is extending and designing the Sibling in other media.
Also, Felix on FriendFeed.
